Johnny sat in his seat near the door, the quickest escape route at the end so he could be the first to publish the highlights of the conference. Some movie mogul droned on and on about his new movie starring some girl called Delia, he knew the name so it was probably a relatively promising front-pager.
He scribbled some more notes down, suspiciously hiding his notepad from some old hag to his left. She was obviously the New Yorkers reporter, they were really the Old Yorkers.
He stretched in his seat, looking longingly at the door, the movie sounded good. The movie mogul however could get a few lessons from his actors about speaking abiliity.

Lora Laine tapped her pen lightly on her notepad as the movie mogul droned on, a light frown on her face. Movies and some girl named Delia was of no importance to Lor, she wanted hard hitting, front page news stories.
The only reason she was even at the conference in the first place, was because her editor insisted she go to try and find a story, and was honestly a little frustrated with Lora being in the office.
Flicking her curled hair over her shoulder, Lora glanced around subtly at the rest of the reporters around her.

Johnny noticed Lora, rolling his eyes he sat up and glared pointedly at her. He got out of his seat and went to stand next to her. He smiled like a gentleman, whispering through his teeth as he pretended to listen, "What the HELL are you doing here?" he asked her, annoyed.

Lora glanced at Johnny as he approached, rolling her eyes. She returned the polite smile, though in a more sarcastic manner.
She whispered to him through her teeth, sounding as annoyed as she looked. "I'm attending a press conference. What about you, Johnny? You do realise this isn't the local strip club, don't you?" she said to him, smirking slightly.

Johnny pretended to be shot by something in the heart, "Ouch!" he chuckled, rubbing his chest. "Is that really what you think of me Lois? I'm just trying to make a living in a cold, cruel world!" he told her, blatently checking her out, "And trying to have fun..." he added, innocently scribbling a few notes down on his notepad, trying not to laugh.

Lois glared at him "Oh don't you even think of checking me out again. As for just trying to make a living, good for you. Good thing you work at a tabloid, where they don't publish real news. Means while you get all your little gossip stories, i'm being a real reporter and reporting real news."

Johnny scowled at her, he disliked being rejected and insulted in the same moment. "Oh really? So, 'miss real reporter' what are you -really- reporting? The only news -is- tabloid doll. So get off your high horse Lois, you're no better than anyone here. We all want the same damn thing!" he hissed at her. His face then softened a little, "And I can't help it if my eyes wander a pretty doll like you..." he added.

Lois rolled her eyes "I never said I was a better person. Just a better reporter." she hissed at him. "And don't try that flirt crap you try with most of the other women here, I won't budge."

Johnny chuckled, "In the world of journalism it's practically the same insult doll. Maybe you should learn the ropes here before you try to report the place." he chided her. "Maybe I could help you... over dinner..." he chuckled, suddenly appearing to remember something, "Oh but I forgot, you won't budge..." he told himself.

Lois glared at him "No, I wont. And I highly doubt i'd learn anything from you, Johnny."

Johnny glanced sideways at her, "Oh I can teach a few things, the art of seduction..." his eyes flicked over her, "people skills..." he said slowly, smirking at her.

Lois scowled "I have people skills." she said to him, defending herself.

Johnny looked suprised, "Coulda fooled me doll. Guess its hidden under the cold bitch of an exterior huh?" he mocked her, smiling at her with sympathy.

Lois smirked at him "Oh, Johnny, this cold bitch exterior is only saved for when you're around." she said to him, patting his shoulder mock-sympatheticly.

He fiddled with his cuffs, shaking his head and chuckling to himself. "Oh Lois, you know it's pathetically obvious that you want me, right?" he asked her, smirking like an arrogant boy, which of course he was.
