Tyler snorted "Someone like me? And what exactly is wrong with me? Is it that I care about the safety of women? Is it that I have a sense of humour and aren't as up tight as you? Is it that..Oh, I don't know, I have a little sympathy and care for some of the girls at the Roxy?" he smirked "That's it, isnt it? You don't want to know someone who gives a damn. You want some mega billionaire bimbo that thinks of you as arm candy for his red carpet events. You want someone who always puts you second to their damn career, don't you?"

Eran finished sweeping it into a pile and picking up the shards of glass in her hand; she had no clue where the shovel was. She looked up and glared at Tyler then stood up. "Yes, yes and oh, yes." Eran replied to all of his questions in a harsh tone. "What's wrong with you? I'm not your type, throwing myself all over you like the Roxy girls do." she scoffed. Eran scowled harder at Tyler as he pretty much referred to her as a piece of meat. "Feelings are for losers. What is there to feel in this place apart from sorrow and devistation?" Eran asked seriously, her eyes cold and blank, as to guard herself from Tyler seeing her soul.
"So what if I have to be arm candy? I'll be up there and you," Eran sighed dramatically acting as if she cared, "you will still be here with your favorite strippers and drunks." Finishing her rant she walked to the bin depositing all the glass, then caressing her cheek. Eran sucked it up and went back out on the floor, there were still some customers that needed serving.

Tyler grabbed Eran's arm as she started to walk around the bar. "There's hope, determination. You don't see it because you don't care. You don't give a fuck for us, you just want to get your damn dream. Well guess what sweet heart? So do we." he muttered darkly to her, releasing her arm.

Eran struggled a little in Tyler's grip, it was a bit too firm for comfort. Giving up the struggle she listened begrudgingly then answered him honestly. "You're right. I don't give a fuck, and you want to know why? Because people screw with you for fun. They're as slippery as snakes and you can't trust 'em as far as you can throw 'em." Eran retracted her arm once he let her go. She rubbed it gently and leaned into his ear to whisper to him. "One last thing, if you ever touch me again like that, I'll kill you." Eran whispered with a murderous tone before turning and walking up to a group of younger guys.

Tyler glared after Eran, cleaning some glasses furiously to let out all his anger on the glass, instead of going to smash said glass over Eran's pompous head.

Eran nodded, occasionally gave a fake laugh and took the orders of the men all around her. To avoid going back to the bar she went on to another table and another after that. Eran knew she and Tyler had to close up tonight and there was no way he was going to get in the way of her and her the money that she needed. So she decided she had to stay and do it. But right now orders were up.
Three full note pad pages were ripped off and put on the bar table top for Tyler to do. Eran didn't so much as look at Tyler and sat on a bar stool fiddling with her apron as she waited in silence.

Tyler glanced at her slightly, taking the pad pages and making up the orders, putting them on a tray and nudging it towards Eran slightly, saying not a word to her.

Eran nodded, still not daring enough to look up at Tyler. She had hoped the night would continue like this; words were useless to her, and silence was an often welcomed companion in her life. She took the tray holding it on one hand and made her way around the bar, stopping for idle chit chat with the odd sober person and moving on to serve the next drunk.
Her Kohler eyes often did a quick speed glance over in Tyler's direction, wandering what he was doing, although she pretended not to even care.

Tyler glanced at Eran as she made her rounds, continuing to clean the glasses and occasionally parts of the filthy bar. He glanced down as the wooden bench, then at the beer, needing one of those for himself.

Eran returned to the bar, again dropping the glass rather loudly just to get a rise out of Tyler. Another thick wad of orders was slapped on the bar top. "Last orders up." she muttered, looking at the clock. 1.am, where the hell did the time go?!
Eran decided to start closing up as the customers started to dwindle in numbers. She walked over to the door, locking it from the inside so the remaining customers could get out if they weren't too drunk and knew how to use the door knob, and so the people on the outside couldn't get in. Eran sighed leaning against the door once she'd locked it; she still had to put up the chairs sweep and mop the floors. Aces and Spades was particularly dirty tonight so it would take her a fair while. Eran even contemplated asking Tyler for the keys to lock up so she wouldn't have to look at his stupid face as he waited for her.

Tyler jumped slightly Eran dropped the glass, gritting his teeth as he resisted yelling at her. He nodded stiffly as she mentioned the last orders, going about making them up.
He watched Eran start closing up as he put the orders on a tray, waiting for her to come and collect it. Glancing it at the clock, he started to clean up the bar for closing.

Eran came back once she's seen Tyler finish the last of the beers and martinis and put them on the tray. Grabbing the edge and sliding it onto her hand, Eran looked at Tyler completely seriously. "Give me the keys and go home. I can lock up, I've seen you do it a million times before."

Tyler looked at Eran, shaking his head. "No can do. It's not like I have anything important waiting for me at home, much rather be here doing something." he answered, looking back down at the bar and cleaning it.

"Go to Roxy then." Eran muttered irritably taking another jab at him. She knew Tyler would be on her ass for the rest of her night telling her to hurry up while all he did was wait for her.

Tyler glared at her "No." he muttered to her, scowling. There was no way in hell he was leaving her now. His ass was on the line if anything happened to the bar on his closing shift, not to mention his gigs.
