Full Name: Lois Laine
Nickname(s): Lo
Stage Name: Sometimes when she’s following a story undercover, she goes under the alias Madeline Clark.
Age: 20
Artistic Pursuit(s): Her journalism career.
Image: Here.
Appearance: Lois has wavy light brown hair that’s up to just past her shoulders, and brown eyes. She’s quite thin, and stands at 5’6”.
Personality: Lois is a strong, independent young woman who knows the difference between right and wrong. She’s stubborn, and sarcastic, and determined. Underneath this hard, concrete shell, is a friendly young woman who wants nothing more in life then to fall for an honest, decent, nice guy.
Family: General Sam Laine (father, alive, in the army), Eloise Laine (mother, deceased).
History:
Lois' mother died when she was quite young, leaving her to generally raise herself, as her father was constantly busy with working in the army. She managed though, and became quite independent as a result of this.
Lois discovered her nose for news when she was 18, when she discovered her friend’s boyfriend could be cheating on her. She spied on them and went undercover, as such, until she found the truth and got hard evidential proof of the betrayal. Her friend, though upset by this, thanked her for being such a good friend to stop her making a mistake by dating the guy.
Lois has lived in New York her entire life, and took a writing course in college, at New York University. She was hired straight out of college to work at the New York Times.
Despite that she’s only been there for two years, Lois feels as if she knows the place inside out. And on top of that, already has a rivalry with another reporter. Johnny Luck. She thinks he’s an arrogant flirt, and wants nothing to do with him except to gloat about when she gets the better headline then him.
Lois thinks he’s kind of cute, but would never admit that to anyone. Including herself.
Main Talent: Her journalistic ability.
Weaknesses: Her sarcasm can sometimes offend people, and she can come off as a snob because of her personality. She hates it when Johnny gets a headline over her, and sometimes her determination to get a story can get her in trouble. She’s allergic to dogs.
Strengths: She’s determined, strong, and independent. She loves her job and is damn good at it. She’s good at giving advice to her friends, even if she isn’t very good in the delivery of said advice. She’s friendly to the people she likes, and even occasionally friendly to Johnny.
Anything Else: nope
RP Example:
“Well can you get her to call me?” Lois Laine said into the phone, frowning slightly as she listened to the person on the other line. “Well tell her it’s important, this entire article is riding on her statement!..Wha-No I will not be patient, or do you want another organised crime ring to corrupt your children while I be patient, sir?...Hello? Hello?! Ugh!” she shouted, slamming the phone down in a huff.
How you found the site: I think you get it by now, I created this baby, babeh. Halfly.
